ORDIOR Oy – SHORT COMPANY PROFILE

COMPANY BASICS

The Finnish company called Ordior Oy was established in August 1st, 1992. Our company imports and sells the laboratory instruments, reagents and accessories manufactured by several well known international partners, like Foss, BeckmanCoulter and Shimadzu. The instrument service and spare part support is handled by our own service group. We have also a daughter company, Ordior Eesti Oü, in Estonia. This company was established in 2006.

Ordior has had a certified quality management system, ISO 9000, since year 1996 and our daughter company in Estonia since 2007

Our facilities including warehouse are situated in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. We also have local branch offices in Kuopio, Oulu and Seinäjoki. The amount of personnel is 23 at the moment.

Ownership

The major owner of the company is University Pharmacy by 89,5 % of the shares. University Pharmacy is the biggest pharmacy chain in Finland by turnover of € 292 mio in 2008.

Business idea

With our solutions and services for food control and safety measurements among environment protection, we want to be part in developing human well-being. We want to be partners in industrial laboratories, quality control laboratories and research laboratories by providing laboratory and in-line solutions for chemical measurements.

Our main customer segments are food, agricultural and chemical industries, environmental laboratories, academic and research laboratories. The solutions for in-line measurements are one of the key areas.

We want to help our customers to find and accomplish the best possible solutions for their use.
